Oh? Why so?

A. People will have to run on the gay speed
B. Runners will have big adventage that they can just run away and use defensive moves in case they're gonna get hit, if someone won't fight back he can just run forever
C. People wont really risk highly developed characters in perma-death fights that they pay for. In legacy haven you had tradition and you didn't have to work that hard to get your stats back, but you were unable to develop your char while being full trad.

btw since you propably read this, why can't you shoot animals from your boat now? that's stupid

Boohoohoo can't guarantee you will catch someone by virtue of having 9 buckets of water in inventory and the other guy probably not walking everywhere geared to murder other people. Cry me a river of buckets.

You can't put bucket with water to your inventory and still, if you try to drink you will just get hit

I had the same bug with action bar looking as though I had unlocked things that I hadn't. It righted itself once I logged out and in again.

I'm not sure any of those things are negatives.

The boat's hitbox stops the arrow. Unintended.

I've been playing the old haven since w4, on w4 w5 and first months of w6 I liked to just hunt, explorate and shit like that but when I discovered how great the combat system was I feel in love in that part of the game and it kept me playing till w7 end, I played just to develop my warrior and fight, there is a lot of people like me that enjoy just combat becouse everything else gets too easy and boring, thats why combat and group combat should be well done, when you die you should lose something to feel the adrenaline and feel the happiness of killing enemy, but not everything so you can fight again in like 2-3weeks of getting stats back.

  • You do not inherit discoveries, but the action menu is not properly rebuilt when you die, so it looks as if you do. It probably rebuilds once you buy a skill or such. We are considering how this works.
  • You presently only inherit claims, and no percentage of LP, skills, or the like. This is as intended.

Interesting. Good to see that everyone is on equally dangerous footing now.

I hated the fact that it was possible to easily manufacture replacement warriors in previous worlds.

Oh it isn't meant to work like that? Seemed fine to me.

i hope you scaled the time the scents last, else it'll be hard to impossible to retaliate for murder (since you need more time now to rebuild the character)?
