It is not problem for information to be a guess, just mark it as a guess. We just need a place to start write into.

That is arguably worse than having nothing at all. Guesswork and misinformation propagate and linger, even damaging or biasing future information. ARK's wiki is still a useless mess because everyone just did guesswork on it and now no one can differentiate reality and make believe.

You really want a solid foundation of information to work off of to get a wiki started.

Never saw it going like this, really. In my experience it always going other direction. This is how wikis works and accumulating knowledge in general, like science.

May be Ark wiki is just too young? Haven wiki was full of misinformation and guesses also on first worlds. Time passed and it refined well.

Well, it is still much better than forums. And when RoB is up, if it will up, information can be easily moved.

I think RoB is just waiting for information to be less guess work so each page doesn't have to be edited daily, the owner of it Spiff still plays.

There should be new rob coming?

Spiff is ultimately in control of RoB and hasn't made public comment on it, anything anyone else has said is heresay.
Also old templates may not hold up anymore with the 3 different QLs and Experience.

Ant that's true. To make people fill wiki, someone first should setup one, make good templates, fill some initial pages etc etc. In the other words you should show to the other people that your project is worth their free time.

pfft well I always found old wiki helpful, even for haven 2 most of it is still acurate help for a new/returning player. like I just looked up requirements for village claim on old wiki, its prob not changed or at least is very similar.

there's a pretty solid foundation there we can build from, though, and maybe take some notes from salem wiki as well
