For what it's worth, all three characters I made got an Itsy Bitsy Spider within their first 10 forages. Given the ambiguity of what Jorb has termed "Luck", and the tendency for noobish characters to find high end curios, I almost suspect some kind of MTTH type mechanic is involved

I've noticed that while i have spider, i never find another, and instead find the web. And vis versa. But whenever i have both I never find another until the first two are gone.
