I partly agree with this. It is unfortunate that we didn't get this in. We tried, but there wasn't enough time.

I like the idea of huge world, small spawn area. Everyone can kind of set the level of interconnection they want.

It's mostly going to be the raiding types who are grumpy about this. But if a player wants to spend 10 hours walking to ensure more privacy I don't really like the idea of forcing them to settle more densely to make a small percentage of the population happier they can ruin more people's day.

This is way better than that some naked russian guy is going over your place every 2 minutes stealing everything you got.

That was also a disappointment that we had. What are your thoughts on having large continents and seas?

I kind of don't mind the lack of rivers. I have found a few long rivers nearby my area I plan on utilizing and it makes it a lot more special.

It would be cool if some kind of world expansion was done with seas and such between the new zone and old zone. That being said, I kinda doubt we'll see that this world. So we'd likely go through at least one world reset before that.

I'm glad this game finally got proper funding for active development :)

The size is just fine, raiders won't like it. But the lack of rivers or interconnected rivers does make it a bit harder to get around.

Highways! Well, when they're patched a bit. Currently I don't think it's feasible to have an interconnected road system world wide, but with some tweaks I think we could see it in the future.

Current size is comparable or even a bit larger than w7 IMO.

A 20 hour walk south-east and I was at the edge.

No the border is not penis shaped unfortunately. It's not straight either.

I'm surprised that you consider the lack of a river interstate system like in previous worlds to be a bad thing, considering that the current algorithm you have for terrain generation produced a world with a lot more fidelity and variation than any before it. The only issue I saw with it is that biomes could stand to be a little larger on average. I have yet to see a single giant coniferous scandanavian forest like in old Haven, for example.
