that said, however, not sure if asking for a dead character after what happened to the victims of the bug raid.

have you ever shared your account? is there a possibility that someone may have logged onto your account and let it it stay in game? im sorry but you would most likely have to look into every possibility before you call it a bug. had you logged out completely when you closed your game? which client were you using? and so on.

The real questions asked should be if he had the crime debuff or not, what client he was using, and how he logged out

i did, but why would he let it starve on purpose? of course even you wouldnt do that, joco, would you? but some naughty one may.

I often sit at low energy on my characters, when you're online it's not that big of a deal to manage it and keep it over a certain point where the damage is noticeable

Also, if someone stole his account they'd be better off drowning his character, inheriting and THEN standing online so as to drain his ingame time

thats what you would, of course, because of your nature, but most people dont go that far.
it also makes it even less obvious and you could make an excuse of non-intentional action. youd better learn what it means to be real mean.

Likely had under 1000 energy to begin with, stayed logged in overnight and was taking hhp dmg

was only gone for 1 hour. when i got the phone call. appenrlty there was no dmg ticks or anything. my village mates would have seen it since they were all working around me.

Never shared my account, J&L would have to check the IP my account was logged in from.

My farmer does not leave the town, nor did he have black skills.
I was using ambers.
I pressed X and shutdown my computer. it gets extremely hot in my room otherwise.

I'm also a sub, so i dont use ingame time....

first of all, im not sure if the default client still has auto log out after inactive moments, but i know most custom clients keep your chars logged in forever unless you properly log out. pressing "x" is the mistake here, im afraid. and in that case, this is not a bug to the best of my knowledge.

Someone could claim that it was a mistake, but if Maze is saying he gave no one permission to use his account in the first place then that would fall through

Moderators can check any IP you've ever posted on through these forums, you think that a dev can't see who is connecting to his server?
