Halloween is the best Holiday of the year. Don't let the fact that corporations are trying to get paid dissuade you. Dress up. Get Drunk. Or if your more family orientated trick or trick, or maybe visit a haunted house. If your area doesn't have a Haunted House, Start one, you may be very glad you did in some years.

When people complain about trivial shit like this is when you know there's no real problems. We're wired to grasp onto something to whine about. :P

Interesting it used to be at the start of the summer then it was moved to October 31, November 1 and November 2 to coincide with the Roman Catholic triduum festival of Allhallowtide: All Saints' Eve, All Saints' Day, and All Souls' Day

Our workplace has decided that this week we should all come dressed in costume. The kids at work think it is awesome. :)

In Slovenia its just another day and excuse to get drunk, while keeds meet 80% of the doorsteps getting locked and bells not answered cause many don't give a shit about it.

I don't give a shit either, halloween never was popular in Poland and is not a part of tradition. I really can't be bothered to provide free candy to some random kids dressed as vampires. We simply do not celebrate this and I don't care how much Americans love this, I am not an American and this is not America so bug off. We have other traditions that involve kids dressing up and going door-to-door but they are connected with the christmas eve and the more ambitious kids at least prepare simple performances and costumes that portray various events from the bible. I'm not a christian, in case you think I'm biased because of that, but I can acknowledge the effort they put in performing.

Somenone has sayd it before: it's a fun party but its not ours. I don't care if people do it, but if someone is asking to make this game become a USA based lore game i will blame on it.
With its actual shape and hearth, this game should focus in druidic or paganistic lore, nor the one from USA. Also, are they the bast majority of players here? All the damn games across the internet has that shit, wht this one 2?

oh wow, didnt realize there are certain hatreds towards this event...

i have nothing against halloween, its great to see whatever gives many of you some fun and happy time. todays update wasnt really for halloween but you could craft halloween themed items with this update too, so its all good i think?

i just dont celebrate it generally, but there are always those happy party people and brain-happy business people. i like the former, not the latter. i just find it a bit annoying to see too many marketing bullshit when im trying to find some good gifts for my nieces birthday every year around this time ;)
