Is there a way for someone to "hire" other players by paying for playtime and maybe a little something extra to support them irl?
That way one could hire people to do chores like farming and gathering.

with tokens ingame you already can pay hired guns in playtime (i gues paying extra irl should stay "extra" = external from game)

i'd love a way to pay for others even when not playing myself i.e. "gift this sub to accountname: Koya" - as i know some peeps neither have that much money or their currency is "weak"

If no dollars are being shunted towards advertising, it might be time to start working on that. Word of mouth alone isn't enough to support a game. If the devs want to stay off steam, independent action will need to be taken.

I'm no specialist on those matters sadly. I would definitely shy away from calling the game F2P though, since it acts more like an "indefinite free trial" since most F2P games shit on you in many ways but don't restrict how long you can play.

one 300$ lump isn't a huge amount to live on, I'm sure things are going fine at least but a few diehard fans are hardly a sign of a thriving game.

The game isn't dying, but it's not really growing either. Long term that needs to change, but it's not a red flag at this exact moment.

Honestly it's probably better to get as much of the bug fixing and balance tweaking done now with the hardcore fanbase before making a marketing push to grow the game.

This. Well said, Sevenless.
While the population isnt as big as it used to be, maybe the world doesnt exactly need to be as big as it used to be. Just my input.

Many games make there cash cow, buy making and selling cosmetic items (or ones with special limited function that are special). Some sell items that help the in game economy (or screw it up badly as i far as I have seen, for the quick buck irl).

a 300 dollar subscription is like you allow jorb/loster to pay there water bill, or power bill for a month. Its not sustainable for them in the long run.

Some places support 100 full time workers and have sold less items then jorb and loftar as of this time. Though said place had a CEO change, causing the merkets in game to inflate, ect.... Them spamming new items that are limited every day of the week. They quickly went from 100k users almost all the time to 20k almost all the time. Even if thats a sad number be cool to see this game reach said levels lol.

No they have not ruined it yet, but they could do things that help people want to pay in. Double free time for free players, do the same for registered players, give some perks to paying players that give them a very miner edge past just time able to play. Do daily log in bonuses or something to help stop botting (and forcing non-paid to waste a few minuts of there time everyday to gain that small shiny bonus
