I just wanted to chip in that a lot of developments are funny because they seem to be based on whatever Jorbtar are encountering at the time.

They seem like rather slow hermits.

C'mon, what a dodge. Though, if you were to join a village, I suspect you wouldn't give any warnings beforehand about you doing so.

Anyway, I think the OP is correct in his assessment, I think you guys are quite good at designing things on a conceptual level, but tweaking and so on is not your strong suit, possibly because of lacking in-game experience that one could only really get in a big faction.
