I would really like to build a great hall on a hill surrounded by a wall and towers to get a castle like feeling. Alas I am too lazy to do that...

Edit: I am curios to see Dis' town, we probably look like nabs compared to that (Even though the central town is of course not everything we have)

What do you mean with cascade damage? The only difference betwen this and LO is the brickwalled idol at first sight.

He probably means the connection between outer and inner wall, but it doesnt make a difference. The inner wall wasnt meant to be an additional defence layer. The wall is a hassle and was only built because digging the outer wall was fucking bullshit and we needed the brick up asap. We would have removed the inner wall ourselves if it was possible to do safely but there is no way sadly.
