This sort of behaviour is the reason I'm glad the new Salem crew took a stance against excessive toxicity on the forums as well, if only for a while (not sure if it's still enforced as much). But I do agree that the classier raider factions that can have a convo while murdering one another are much better than the excessively bored people that just log on to spew profanities in the hope they get a rise out of someone. There should be some option serverside to mute players ingame if reports are submitted that they're being too horrible , with evidence, and hopefully with serverside logs.

However much the devs like the idea of the game self-balancing and self-evolving, making players prone to lose their lunch via graphical descriptions of icky stuff isn't quite my idea of fun gameplay. Keep it classy guys o/ As much as I was a Salem carebear I need to say, it'd be so refreshing to see more posters like the tribe politics posts, for any that remember them.

That's just the way you see things. For others your situation is an easy way to get a raid and maybe even a few kills. This is an open PvP sandbox kind of game, not a carebear farming simulator club penguin kind of game. If you really cannot stand assholes on the internet (again, that's just the way you see raiders) then perhaps this game is not for you, and looking at the dev's stance on things like this it never will be.

I for one agree with MusicWarrior, all you trolls should be banned from the whole internet for hurting people's feelings, ESPECIALLY on Christmas eve! Is there no compassion left in this world? Making swastikas?! Putting up rams on christmas eve?! I have lost all my faith in humanity.

It think the issue is that the you sees that the only response here are the ones that trolls may be the case here. However, keep in mind that trolls are the most vocal and will stand out, taking way more attention space compare to other poster archetype due to how abrasive they are, it is their modus operandi after all. Further more, believe it or not, your post here is the type that are going to attract the attention of trolls especially since it is the source of easy access to anguish response.

The archetype is always in virtually every game, and Haven is no exception. Even if trolling can be watered down, you still need to build up your emotional fortitude and be able to shrug them off. There are also many ways to counter-act them (hint: do nothing) and some are available on the internet to search.

This is how the game always has been, you go away for an hour and people kill all your animals, rip apart your housing, your kiln, everything. Flatten your base for the laughs, and as the game is now its easier you run out of time for the week, you cant stop that ram from drying, log into the wilderness. But that is how the game is set up, its a savage world and the big fish win. They have there fun ruining it for everyone else. They can still spy in your village and then kill people oath in there real village and so on.

As safe as the game is compared to how it was. People play dirty, that is the end of the story.
