Had the world not ended it would have been months before it was finished and I made the thread, lol, but yeah, I can imagine it would be scary to have it on the forum, I hid the map though and cropped a lot of surroundings.
It was a lovely base, very nicely done, I'm so pleased to know whose it was, thanks for responding.

That pile of junk, which was not even flattened and paved, made 5-cornered due to inability to terraform mountains, hardly can be called nicely done Even though we took some effort to make banners, houses and towers.

But it was our home for the last 4 month, so I'm gonna miss it.

^^ Lol, I didn't walk all the way around, I hadn't noticed the 5 corners, but yes the towers side and the entrance were very nice.

@ Kalacia ... thanks, I've always loved them too and have always wanted to do one, I'd really like to do one in a style, sort of like Ethans but it's harder to do without being a new player I think, if I ever did I'd have to do it on an anonymous account.

That hat was such a bonus to my stats! All your gifts served me well on my travels, I felt a bit guilty taking them when I wasn't sticking around but I so needed them I couldn't resist.

I would have stayed if it were not for my (failed) quest.

To echo Em, awww, that is so nice. I probably wouldn't have accepted such a big gift but it would have definitely made a difference to the outcome of my quest, you have no idea how many lengthy detours I had to take to get around lakes and rivers with the cart which won't cross even shallow water.

Ethan said it was roughly 12hrs to the western edge but I was travelling (not including the stop-overs) for over 17 hrs without finding the southern edge and is part of what made me give up, the worry I was going in a circle and there was no edge ... which had previously been suggested in the thread that gave me the idea.

Anyway, I hope you will come to our end of world party ...
