Im not sure what youre saying.
1 year subscription is currently quite cheap I'd say. 50$ for most basic one.
And this is being developed all the time. If you buy some new AAA+ 50$ game you will spend less time playing it than HnH, and that AAA+ game is not being updated if some expensive DLC not counted in.

Eh, haven has had a massively cyclical population since ever. All of the worlds peaked in the first week and dropped off steadily until it hit 50-100 players.

I threw down for a years sub over the weekend... it was like £34. Yes that's about the price of a new game, such as xcom2, but ive played this on and off since 2010.

I think i've had my share fun out of the game, and the devs should be paid for that.

Connections per IP limit is not going to limit anyone.
