If you had a wild boar ran his tusk into your stomach and his hoof stopped into your head, i'm pretty sure you'd get atleast a little concussion, and the best way to treat that would be to rest.

I like things that make you crippled for a bit, because it lets you know not to do that again, and to be more careful.

Although they should make it a bit less damaging, (50 HHP is alot, i have to agree) i don't think they should just completely delete it.
Total misplay.

No it doesn't. The temp health loss, sure, but the skill reduction is nothing but complete shit. How is anybody supposed to learn how this games combat system works if you're going to gut their skills for days at a time for trying?

There's already wounds for all of that shit. Fell slash, Cruel Incision and the like. None of them are anywhere near as bad as Concussion. The build path for Cold Compress is utter fucking shit. Gauze and Stinging Poultice are wound healing items done right, and even if the build path for Cold Compress was made easier, it still does excuse how high the Concussion damage is relative to everything else. Picture related, my other character.

eh... I had a 60 pt concussion at one point. While a problem to play, I still found things to do. If you have to wait, no better time than the present to get started on alt number whatever you're going to want a month or less down the road.

I remember when getting "knocked out" by 90% of wildlife had a pretty decent chance of killing you. Maybe stop getting knocked out?

And when would that have been? Because even in Legacy, that was rare to the point that I forgot it was even a thing, until it actually did happen one day to remind me that yes, it was indeed a thing. Bears must have had something tiny like a 10% chance to go through with it. Never had a boar kill any of my Legacy characters, and non of the others creatures (Besides trolls) would kill.
I'd take a chance to die in a game that gives you 60% of your stats and skills back, as well as a fresh new 300% hunger bar over my character being worthless for 48+ hours.

muh realism Xdddd

Yeah I love the wounds and wound treatment idea but it's too much, makes it feel a bit too Salemy with the chores rather than how Haven 1 was were you could get gored up the ass by a battleaxe, put some cloth on your head and you're good to go in a couple of hours.

I have not laughed this much at a thread-start in a good while. Thank you, OP. Concussion delivers!
