Now you can use your 330 stat char for carnage risking him in PvP while having back up
battle alts. More fun for you and maybe even for those you engange in PvP.
If everyone has a high stat char they are afraid to lose, the game gets more boring.
This is working as intended.

I am all for higher stat cap... but I am not even that high in any stat yet.... I am more likely to max out in skills before any thing else.

Plus I rather give jorb and lofter to make there own assessment on the stat caps. Though I have thought of a creative way to raise them and all. But so what?

Relax and slow down a bit, let other people have a chance to max out when ever they do, hell I have yet to bake my first loaf of bread....

Current mechanics in that field need to stay for the time being, so we can find out if they work as intended.

When you reach cap go outside and do pvp until you get your char killed.

4 year difference doesn't make an elder (unless I'm judging age from posted pics wrong). At most, it makes one an upperclassman to the other, and the right to give wedgies and other punk moves.

As a hermit who plays somewhat casually and has barely breached 40+ all around, I can't say I'm unhappy that it's not completely hopeless for me to have stat parity someday.

Yea, I'll never be able to stand toe to toe with someone from a faction anyway, nor should I, but at least there's a softcap on how stupidly superior they can get.

I'd rather caps were lower and salt was not a thing.

Don't think thats because I dont have salt, I probably have more than I need - hoping to sell it for gear.

To be honest, the fact you're just breaking 40 means you still won't, and you probably won't be a skillful enough player for it to matter if you do. I'm not hating, just trying to be a realist. I've hermitted since w3, and it's just a fact you have to learn to accept.

edit: I'll note there is an exception if you've done the village thing and gotten into different fights and stuff, in which case you might just know enough to fight most random raiders off, even with the lower stats.
