I agree to this. I've been foraging for a while now and haven't seen even a single piece of glimmer.
I have vague memories of tying a woman up and throwing her in a dungeon.

I believe this is the new fate system. After finding too many of a fated curio (including Glimmermoss now) it stops giving you those for a while. That's my theory. Dedicated foraging, wandering around all the time doing nothing but looking for curios, will naturally not work under this system.

As for 'why', blame the botters. Systems like these exist to reduce the advantage gained by those who automate the simpler tasks like foraging.

I've been getting so many glimmers, eidels and bluebells that I don't even know what to do with them.

Right now the game is much more good than legacy. I never found a bluebell in w8 and I found 3 in one day last week.
And this is geting better every week.

I found two bluebells yesterday on the same screen of each others, and found a Q26 bluebell an hour ago. I'm not sure about other curios, though I have found a couple boletes whiles walking around. x3 Haven't done much cave exploring yet, however.

I remember a few weeks ago I was drowning in boletes, now it's pretty rare for me to find one.

I have never had a problem with finding any of them, in either this world or last, tbh ... edels have always been a bit scarcer for me than the others but I have had them. I do spend a lot of time out of my villages though doing various things, hunting, foraging, fishing, exploring, visiting, all on the same char ... I don't like being stuck inside ... so maybe that has something to do with it.
