I am a Roman Catholic. Read and follow the Catechism. Will not use artificial contraception (not that I need it, seeing's I don't fuck). Go to Mass every Sunday. Serve on the altar every Sunday. I do look at porn and masturbate, and disrespect my mother, but I'm breaking these bad habits; I hate them and wish to be rid of them.
In the game, I steal shit, and I do not abstain from meat on Fridays, and I don't take Sundays off. There are no sacraments or priests in-game so my character is an unbaptised heathen. I do treat other civilly (theft aside) and I don't disrespect my elders, but that's out of personal preference. I hate bloodshed if I don't need to.
Game does not equal life. Game equals fun. If it makes it more fun for you to RP your religion in a game, do so. But if we were required to follow our religions in games, Christians could not play so much as Risk or Chess - it would be unjust war.
"...the dungeon and shackles are already at my threshold to show me here and now my eternal disgrace. Only you can work the miracle to make life possible for a soul so imperiled by doubt, O Atoner for all, exalted beyond saying." - St. Gregory of Narek, Book of Lamentations, Prayer 1. You are much loved! Love in return!
