A lot of things have been improved/made easier in Hafen, but I do miss Classic Haven from time to time... Mostly because there seemed to be more freedom to fuck with other people

I miss flots. I miss getting my chores done so I could do a couple of laps around the nearby circular river system. It was so efficient, I could shoot a few animals, forage the swamps along the way and find a flot or two.

This one time, I had a village of 10, and about 10 neighbors, that actively played and developed. Then after a few months, over the course of 2 weeks, everyone disappeared, it was crazyyyyy

Why in God's name would that happen? There's so much meaningful player interaction and varied gameplay past the initial development stage!

Those players are really missing out on the fun.

-Obtain BiS gear

Step 11:
-Go out and PvP (1 million hours) or go learn scripting to create mining bot to have chance at fighting stronkest creature.

Alternative Step 11:
-Log off and check the announcements page on Tuesdays.

well I began my journey in W2

things I miss.

life before curios. to me that is the biggest let down of H&H. W3 is where I played the most. Of course there was also where botting/macroing was running rampant. but I was too new then to understand/notice. The curio/exp system I still don't like. because the one thing that this new lp system was supposed to stop never did and that was the botters/macroers. hell its even worse now as you can load up on the same short term curio hide in a house and with "auto" on(amber client) and the curios are automatically replaced. its a shame really. the sting of death like it was in W3 shall never be again.

also with getting LP by doing things, I was always busy. in the beginning going from different levels of plots and whatnot you always had LP to spend after you did a project. then there were always the boars/bears to get them quick LP boost gains.

I still play H&H cause there is nothing like it. Wurm comes the closest, but the dismal population, multiple servers, as well as the horrible skill gain mechanics is just simply horrible. not to mention the "PVP" and PVE"

its a shame really, this game has your sickest killers and your most righteous protectors. you get Horrible posts 4chan/b quality to sonnets and dissertations of the upmost educational aptitude.

but fairness in this game(and prolly in any other game) just isn't gonna happen. with a FTP game you will always have exploiters and botters cause there is nothing to lose, hell even in ptp games they still take a chance. if only they could had kept the old style of LP but made like a "exp system" that would be able to defeat botters and macroers. But I cant think of any, and the devs are smarter than me when it comes to this game. and they haven't figured it out yet as well.

things I love:

Like the more addition of animals and Horses, luff dem Horsies

love how you can now make long projects instead of having to do it one at a time(fences anyone)

love the wholes stockpile system

Love the whole terraforming system

did you even do any actual combat in the old game?
"the winner always was who had more water" thats what a noob would think that wouldnt had been in a actual combat xD
you could have hundreds of litres in your inventory, but why dis die so much??????? they should had been winning all the fights in old haven if that was a thing XD smh

^^ Why is that stupid? I've heard loads of combat players say that. It's one of the things they all used to complain about. Jorb also stated it as one of the reasons for the changes. :?
