How many ppl play salem and is it any good? Permadeath?

Nobody knows, their server status page has never given an accurate player count (which in itself should tell you something about the player count). Yes it's permadeath.

You rarely find other people around. But in town and forums theres plenty. Occasionally some raiders will find you as well.
Once somone tried to siege me, but no one ever came to break my walls. I guess he thought my place was abandoned, but when he saw me inside with alts he got scared and left.

Just look at these. They add more food in 1 update than what is added to HnH in one year.
Also they actually fix things. And balance them. They even give penalties for using bots and dont allow it.
Actually, they are quite succesful. Botting isn't as common as in HnH. Perhaps it exists in some form. But you cant
just download bot api client openly from main forum.

ya they r actually scurry cuz they are hard 2 kil and they can kil u 2 and they spawn only in these dangerous area such as darkness which is a gud idea tbh
unlike in haven you can parry the strongest animal to death with 70mc character

ya nice update from 4 months ago but what have they done lately, the bulky updates seem nice I agree but you have to consider the time between those updates as well

the game is his hobby and free time shit unlike loftar's & jorb main job if i am not wrong take that too into consideration xd
carver does some good big updates n shit and many of them are the endgame features which i like tbh but the game is shit too in many other ways l3l

Updates have much more stuff than hnh. Its better stuff as well. Also they are not working full time in it.
Most of code is not even written by them, so that should slow down things quite abit. Still they seem to do
better work than devs of hnh who (maybe) wrote the game themselves.
Also you dont have to play it 24/7 to be any good at it like in hnh you need to.
