Some friends on GT Forums told me to join to help them back in world 2 but I made this account in world 3 so to become my own person.

I used that same strategy of finding games.
other games suck because they only have level up and no crafting
others have crafting but sucks bcuz pay2pplay
the gnomes here are merciful, only letz u choose optionz to pay or not,
with a lil bit of advancement if you pay.

I learned about the game from an old video on youtube, a pretty popular guy used to play the game back in it's 2D days, and I found the concept for the game amusing, so I started playing, despite the game looking a lot different than what the game looked like in the video I saw.

Yeah it kinda sucks, I would have love to seen this game back when it was like that, it looked great, but i've come to be fond of the game how it is now, even if it looks muddy at times.

Back when it was 2D it still had some issues actually it had ALOT of issues. That being said it was alot different and not exactly worse than it is now. Like i don't wanna say any version was better because they both are very different. Although we can say this for legacy......... you didn't have to dig for hours to make your palli XD

It still took hours since you needed to make every single little segment separately.
Total misplay.

Bay 12 Games forums. There used to be a whole DF village. I thought I'd check the game out and see if I could join them, but I guess the "official" village had broken up a couple of weeks before I joined, and so I just screwed around for a few months off an on until w4 started. Decided to actually try to play the game, found out the Russians botted the system so hard they broke it. (probably wasn't just the Russinas, but believe it was reported that it was Dis members with 10x more LP than anyone else) The short lived (six weeks?) world 4 ended, and I actually learned enough to make a hermitage that rivaled some of the smaller villages.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
