I remember w3 quite vividly. It was fun. There was so much lag that half of my friends couldn't stand to be on the game. Mechanics were also pretty wonky at times and alt vaults were annoying. Swimming was hilariously dangerous and every mine in the game was claimed from the get go so you had to siege an inactive to get anything. Also the constant repairs. God decay was my least favorite part of the game and why I eventually stopped logging into w3. The first hour of my day was spent repairing walls and buildings, the last hour or so of my day was spent gathering resources to repair stuff tomorrow.

Don't get me wrong, it had its charm and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but lets be real here, it had a lot of problems too.

I'm not sure how world 3 was but world 6 was fun so bring back world 6 :)
There was a wise soviet conscript that was surrounded by the enemy on the battle of Stalingrad. A mortar shot teared his pants apart causing a big hole in his pants right on his right butt cheek. He felt a glorious cold ass breeze of wind on his butt cheek, like it would be sent by stalin himself, he said - hide your butts

i don't mean to start any arguments or anything but i actually like the newest version best. My only complaint would be the art style which is getting closer to Salems art style which i hhhaaate. I just find Salems art to be too cartoony and round for a permadeath game :|

It's jorbs art ... and without it won't be a seatribe game ... sure i have certain difficulties with playing that style but i guess it's mainly because of my age (tired eyes) and being to used (frozen) to isometric games - especially the clarity made me stuck with haven ... but when i look at the screenshot threads i'm often astonished about the outstanding beauty of hafen art - which is far more than Salem art - every time i play a little hafen i'm impressed with the graphic ... but the mechanics are just too much for me personally to be recreational)

Let's not forget the world size, either. So big you could walk for half a day and not see another sign of a person.
