I kind of agree, actually. It's nice having no wires, but at least with the current state of technology, I find that wireless stuff isn't terribly reliable. I wouldn't even consider using WiFi on a computer that actually matters.

You can turn lights off if you dont like them.
Does look like an ordinary mouse but has good build quality and is overall. A good mice.

For the record, I've used this cheap, no-name (inb4 someone tells me A4Tech is a reputable brand) mouse for a few years now and am actually quite happy with it. It's been precise and reliable, and it has a feature where it "auto-aligns" movements that are almost vertical or horizontal to be exactly vertical or horizontal. I can see that the latter feature may be controversial depending on your usage, but it's been nice for me.

Steel series looks pretty good, but wired I guess.
Also kind of spaceshippy, but not as bad as others. It's on the maybe list.

Im using Razer DeathAdder. Over the course of 7 years already I think, I never had any problems with it. It looks rather simple. It has glowing logo and wheel, but it can be disabled. The mouse is rather big, but thats ideal for me, since my hands are big too. For the wireless option, the Razer Mamba is pretty much indentical in look, but it has a few more buttons and is ofc fucking overpriced, like everything from Razer.

Logitech G700.
Side buttons are very comfy, sensor is precise.
Served me for 5 years already.
It has a bit crappy software and had some issues with side buttons but after proper cleanin of both software and the mouse itself it is still good.

Uses AA accumulators, so I have 3 spare and charged. And replace them before gaming session
Never failed me in MMORPG. There was 1 or 2 times in World of Tanks, but I've managed to hide my tank with left hand while replacing the battery with right =)

Going to give Steel Series a bump here. Bought my son a headset about a year ago at half price that was being discontinued for a newer design. Fast forward a year later and the new puppy chews the extension section up. They replaced the part at no cost even though it was out of warranty period.

I've seen a lot of "Free mouse" scams lately. DPI is hardly anything to brag about these days. Most of these scams just buy from another vendor and make profit from shipping. Beware.
