Nah, bro. Plenty of those in the woods here. Conservation status "Least Concern" according to La Wik. Unless you're referring to Central Europe specifically.

kidding aside: European bear is, related to the area of Europe, relatively extinct - might be some left somewhere in the wilderness, but since not much of that is left (in the general area, when ignoring the edges the map) they are basically done.

iirc the lore of the game is set after Scandinavian legends and folk tales. Trolls are also based on Viking/norse mythos.

Judging from the freaking water and rivers everywhere it's for sure Finland :D .
Moreover is inspired by URW that is set in Finland....so here we are :D
