Socialism is simply economically wrong, but what he said was political jargon not meant to work, but meant to appeal to the masses and gain popularity. It's exactly the same as Trump going on and on about immigration. Do you really think it will actually work as intended? Do you think Trump is actually that fucking passionate about building a wall? It's all bullshit to appeal to the largely uneducated masses. The public is largely uneducated on the complex issues of economics, and also on the complex issues of immigration. Why should he need to do something actually feasible and explain yourself when the vote of an economist or a professor is worth the same as the vote of a farmer or an office worker? We can see time and time again political figures that seem to know what they're doing failing, because their ideas aren't popular enough. Assuming that what you want is as much power as possible, all you have to do is preach "Free College, wealth distribution!" or "The Mexicans are stealing our jobs, it's the Chinese behind it!".

The difference is that even if what Sanders say can work, it is still bad. Why I will vote for the man who want to rob me from my dollars? If some man say to me ''hand me knife and I am stabbing you with it,'' even if he have no intention to stab me actual, is it good idea to hand him knife?
