I really like DaniAngione's base location. It's difficult to find a good snow are that isn't completely ruined by hills. You can't terraform stone so finding a large area that is flat is rare.

I like all the other base's designs more though and their paving gives me some inspiration and fits the themes I like. Does anyone know what wood DanAngione's stonesteads use for the roof? It looks like maple. I know it's not planewood.

XD we found this at some point. I always liked it cause it reflected the area it lived in so much.

Wasn't fully aware of this voting until these days, but a big and heartfelt "Thank you!" to everyone that voted for the Retreat :3

Nice man, you should add your stuff like that to the aesthetic thread to document it a little better :P

Awww... if only my lovely Belka were further along, were aiming for a dense urban village with lots of greenery for shade. Still, Wulf's Retreat is bloody gorgeous.

Totally nominating them because of the Zelda one. I flippin' love Zelda. :P I have this T-shirt:

And this little guy:

It comes with a free download code for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds! My dad bought it for my burpday a couple years back, but gave it to me early, like in november, when i was struck with a REALLY nasty flu.

But enough about me, i nominate Fire & Ice!
Total misplay.
