Post your (own) noobest story

I was in the progress of building a large hermit base a couple of worlds ago. It took me well over three weeks of many hours a day and I nearly finished the complete brickwall.
One day I thought it'd be a fantastic idea to afk outside, without any armor, with the key to every gate on my main, right next to a river.

I wasn't new to haven when I made this mistake but it is still, by far, the noobest thing I have ever done in this game.

Also I now suffer from a trauma that prevents me from afking without logging out and having keys on my main account. Thank god slave keys are a thing now.

Early world 8 I was set up in a cave, only claimed the entrance because reasons and there wasn't another entrance.
One day after filling my inventory foraging at the swamp and with many leeches in my equipment slots to save space I hearthed back home to, of course, appear under a cluster of bats. They instantly KO'd me and brought my HHP real low. (It was already almost halved from a run in with a badger days earlier)
I knew the deal, race into my log cabin ASAP, also, why didn't I build my hearthfire in the cabin? or set up the claim to avoid bats? and why is my health dropping? Oh.
All I could do was sit there and watch as the leeches killed me.

Back in Legacy I was the only one on in my village, we disnt have palisades yet because idk why. I saw a raider in a boat and he came after me, so I ean from him and was stalling his attacks due to us circling around some chests, he gets pissed cause he cant catch me and bashes chests. Im like oh shit, so I run towards my cabin which wasnt a good idea. We both went in at the same time and I got stuck inside his body, thus he slayed me while I was deep within him. First and last death in Legacy. Haven't died yet in Hafen.

When I first started I wasn't aware of custom clients, different camera options or the hide feature, I was terribly shy in those days and hadn't played a game with other ppl in it before so everytime I saw anyone I would run and hide behind a boulder (boulders were bigger in legacy) ... this one time some guys passed by on a boat and I ran off into the tree's to hide, one of them followed but slowly, just off screen, I found a boulder and hid, lol, and he came on screen. He stopped and stood there talking to me, I didn't answer, he can't see me, just keep quiet and still ... he carried on for awhile, asking me questions, saying it was safe and the whole time I'm thinking he is just guessing and trying to trick me into coming out of hiding ... finally he walked away saying I should check out the custom clients on the forum ...... I still cringe when I think about it.

If you are reading this now btw, thanks for not killing me but you could have just said you could see me!

Back in world 5 when custom clients maybe were a thing but not widely used. Especially for new players.
My friend told me to get back to the boat when I found brickwalled place that some random scents lead into.
Seconds later my character was one-shot, with rbow, I assume. I have used custom client ever since.

If noone was using custom clients the game will be much better....being able to see behind stuff, etc.. it's for sure not good for the game.
Your story is so nice and funny cause you were using the default client that allow "magic" things to happen....using custom breaks totally all that magic ( i already tried to explain this, but i guess i'm not very successfull to comunicate what i mean in english)
