Well, I've now learnt that maybe being on a horse whilst mining isn't as safe as I thought!

Jord and Loftar should at least tell us how the creatures acts , not knowing what such a deadly creature can do is just bad , studying them is too risky and spawning them too rare for testing how the flex mechanic works , so far i've only seen like 5 trolls this world 2 of which were killed before the flexing mechanic being added and they are nasty creatrues with a base q of 90 in some cases , i've seen q90 trolls

never have a horse in your range when mining , horses in the troll range will skip the flexing stage which lasts 5 to 10 seconds from what i've heard

Trolls don't despawn.

This does help highlight what I see as a problematic game mechanic. I just don't understand the point of trolls in their current form. Are they supposed to be instant death to 99% of the players? If so, why not just replace them with exploding pockets of gas or something. As things stand, only factions can take them down without cheesing. I would love to hear what J&L actually envision for trolls, because unlike most things in this game, I just don't understand it.

Trolls never despawn

Most people can kill trolls 1v1 combat and if you can't you're pretty autistic

Yeah, do you know if that applies to a bull too? Or anyone knows?
Only I ride my horse (which I won't be doing anymore!) and bring my bull with his pack on ... but if I just brought my bull, would the Troll still react to it in the same way?
I'm sort of guessing yes ....
