best thing is having an idol above ground for farming land.
and the rest underground since everything else can be put underground easily enough.
so all raiders would see is a simple farming base with a minehole. which are 13 in a dozen around the world.
and not wanted to waste time and resources on a gamble they will most likely ignore you
