It would be cooler if everyone had 4 digit stats.
You know, like wow.
On endgame you should have millions of str.

The current bars-that-need-filling system actually encourages alts. If you hunt, you lose health. To heal up, you need high energy. To keep your energy high, you need to eat food. To keep your hunger low, you must not eat food. Currently it's simply counterproductive to do any manual work that drains your stamina on characters that aren't fresh spawn work alts, because you need to save your energy to heal your health and not starve, because not eating is in your best interest because of the hunger system.

It needs another revamp and is very shitty atm, let alone the fact that there's 30 mechanics doing the same thing. Hunger, food quality and satiations? Why? Not to mention that satiations and hunger can both be removed by eating yet another resource, drinks and salt respectively.

The satiation system especially feels like it's shoving "EAT DIFFERENT FOODS!!!" down your throat, what they could do instead is make all kinds of food viable and then eat whatever you want, with eating different kinds of food already being encouraged with the food variety bonus.

I like current food system - and you never can please anyone. This game is challenging and eating is one of the challenges. Why would you want that every food was efficient af and you'd raise just the stats you want for your precious alts? That'd be boring. Struggle! Also, devs love your tears.

Food system is decent right now. But Charisma and Will should recieve more ways to be used. As will is a new stat - it's OK that it's not very usefull yet, but chrisma been useless for years now...

You play like this because you, along with most everyone else, has succumbed to the idea that you must min/max everything in an RPG. There are other ways to live a virtual life that doesn't involve min/maxing every character... the problem is Haven isn't one of those. By the very combative nature of the game tied to stats that have a progressive mechanic.

Well, this game became much more hard for a single player and things like STR rising is really tough without proper moves, but overall i think current state of HnH is pretty ok.

I, at the same time, think combat may have some changes because for now the most profitable\safe\adequate way to gain food for stats and to learn moves - which are the key to progress in almost everything now - is to exploit with boats, which means brake the game mechanics. And at this point it is pretty similar to prostitution\drugs restrictions in a lot of countries: it is restricted but everybody can get it or do it. Then what`s the point of those restrictions grinding?

I didn't put much time in the last couple of worlds... but I can say I'm having no more issues playing a few hours a day now than I did in previous worlds where I put an equivalent amount of time in. I can say I'm actually getting in more LP because of the study desk. (Downside: having to spend more time making/finding curios.)

Food has been a crapshoot ever since they added Hunger and Satiations.

One would be fine but together it comes to a point where you either have a massive salt stockpile or just have to quit he game for a while

I'm alone , collaborating for few things with other hermits , and I have 2 stats already over 100 and another one close to.
it's been 3 weeks since the server started , and village have it waaaaaay easier ...
what do you want ? 1000 str/agi/cons after 3 months ?

I for one enjoy the current system with more mixed fep gains :~~

And charisma is better now with bonfires.

I do agree that with the removal of quality influencing hunger gains, its slightly annoying to eat since it fills much faster even with good symbels and what not. They should either rebalance some of them of make it so quality reduces them again. The only upside for me is that I finally have the precise hunger and satiation numbers.
