There are always two sides to a story and from my perspective (having being there), a lot of this is just flowery language and some inconsistencies. For example, he didn't have a dream, he had an idea given to him before the end of last world (I should know, I was the one who pitched it to him in the first place).
This isn't a story of a man living out his days on the top of a mountain. This is a story of a man who perhaps didn't want to be king but found joy in it, of betrayal, of theft, of death, of lack of trust. Hell there's even a few spies in the midst.

As one of the perspectives and as one who connected with others involved, I would say that there was no betrayal, theft, or death on his side. Lack of trust there certainly was but that was directed at someone else by the masses. Death was not brought about because of Wulfkin, but because of someone selfish and misguided.
On the idea thing, sure it's great that you maybe thought of it, but you obviously couldn't pull it off successfully. I think you also forgot that jealousy was in there and true, they were all from one man but that man wasn't Wulfkin.
Please take your sorry butt elsewhere and let readers enjoy storytelling by a famed storyteller.
