I dunno man do u think it's a good idea to fire a cannon in there

the cannon is fixed so it wont do bad things with the recoil!!! the engineers thought it through ( this one is from scille,a rich city in the south)

Having no recoil mechanism on that cannon would cause your mech to fall flat on its back as soon as it fires, unless the legs are the dampeners and can automatically brace for a shot.

one thing that kinda bothers me is the hydrolics on the legs,ther are gear ratios and setups that allow leg movement mabye lol

dont worry man every mechanism was thought through by scillan engineers. their mechs are known for heavy wallcrushing cannons that also easily take down other mechs

while firing the main cannon the mech takes a special stance that helps with the recoil

weakness seems to be fire but that can be avoided, since thay seem to have mastered basic hydrolics the cannon chould be braced by a fluid dispersant cannon fires and recoils and at same time fluid is pushed forward of the mech balancing it (mabye)


some sorta system like this but on a track for canon latched in for easy canon replacement/upgrade

also the feet mabye juat add like a iron plate half way up feet(as it walks may kick rocks and stuff whould bash that wood to peices)

man this mech will fall on it's back when it fires the 150mm caliber autocannon at other medieval mechs you might consider adding springs on its back so it softens the fall atleast

no man the mech stops and they aim at enemy mech or at enemy walls and the commander gives gunners order to fire and they fire and it can be felt in the whole mech but its safe
