So I just realized that when you drop an itsy bitsy spider it runs really, really fast in a very erratic way. You could release one in an enclosure and compete to see who can catch it first.

it goes through objects though so not so practical

Hm, you're right. Well, you could release it in a house. It can't go through doors.
