I feel like smelting chance is on a ore by ore basis. Like you have 50 ore and each one has it's own percentage to change into a bar. So you may have just been unlucky.

24/75 bar/ore on magnetite. that seems about right for me

so maybe the % on rob is with all skills? i got all skills cept for trespassing/rage and whats after on my main
