Depends, while operating a car it can be a good plan (or even mandated by law) to link your phone with the car (hands free speaker, call control located on the wheel).

Go dredge the dark web for a bit, and i'm sure you will find a few. Of course, a lot depends on the implementation of the security protocols used (and using them) and other software and firmware the router uses. Some of the el cheapo routers can be cracked like a peanut, others are more like cracking into the government agencies... doable, but likely to be noticed (and thus stopped) by an active observer.

Only now did I realize that specific harald was danish. I assumed he was swedish since bluetooth came from sweden.

Then again, there were way too many haralds in that part of the world.

Why not, though? I don't think there's any particular reason why Bluetooth can't be secure. The authors of the Blueborne whitepaper seem to argue that it's overly complex and therefore lends itself to poor implementation, but nevertheless I don't think there are any intrinsic security issues with the spec as such.

I am a bit surprised this didn't cause a mini-apocalypse. I guess it's a lot harder to pull off than it looks.
