also beware of what kingdom territory you're in because some are safer than others right now

Yeah, it's White Widow seeds what he means :D.

Here some links for you arcolithe:

- Wiki: http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Haven_and_Hearth_Wiki
- Sevenless' beginner guide to Haven and Hearth: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=40714

Seveless guide is outdated in some regards, but still a good way to get a general idea about how the game works. Have fun! :D

thank you,
so far I'm using sevenless beginner guide, and adopting someones abandoned farm (seems abandoned since the chickens werent fed and died in his coop)

I need to figure out how to make a labor slave, to level and prepare a land for building projects. Issue is figuring out how to do that while my "main" can't construct the totem thing yet. Perhaps I should just wait or do the hard labor on my "main"

if you are capable of making a beacon, then you can make a labor alt.

make the beacon and put in a password.
Then relog or make a 2ed account. create your alt but instead of going to the fire this time. there is a flag beside the fence area.
use the flag and input the beacon password. then your alt will spawn at the beacon location.

The alt getting your totem. make sure to discover everything (just for lp). tree seeds, dirt, water, rocks, sand & forages.
WARNING! MY ENGISH SUCKS.

Yay for disposable labor alts! There is another type of alt that I do recommend you getting eventually as well. A charisma one.. and make sure it's on a separate account as well. When you get to the point were you wanna work on stat gains through eating and having bonfires and tables and such.. a charisma alt (or more) would be pretty beneficial. Unless that mechanic changed since last I played!

whats the issue with combing a charisma alt and crafter?

The charisma alt is basically just to make use of the bonfire bonus and eating in a group, since the charisma of the character that lights the bonfire affects the bonus you get from said bonfire, and having more characters with higher charisma sitting and eating at the tables with you makes it easier for greater bonuses. So you can eat more and get more stats out of it without worrying about overeating as much.

much thanks for advice, that's my labor slave alt now in the town I joined =)
everyone is happy that I'm making a charisma alt.

Are there rules for sharing an account? I know some games allow multi-accounts but prevent multiple-users per account due to "trust" issues in the long run.

Simple rule (as noone can effectively stop you from doing it): Don't complain should things go south and you wont get any help.

The exploit with the charisma alt is that it just needs to sit, so his tables items will not degrade but boost all other tables.

so set all table items on his chair+table and just food on the other tables?
or do the other tables gain bonuses on tableware items as well?
