Never paid attention, but do trellises decay? I know I found some on a claim where the totem was up but out of authority (got some decent, better than what I had, anyway, grape seeds), but haven't paid enough attention to where there was obviously a claim, but no totem or other buildings left. Might be why you have issues finding something like this (and who grows peas, anyway?)

I guess they not decay. I left the game on July and went to my village yesterday. Everything was destroyed besides the Great Hall, the Tower, the Windmill and my Trellis xD

Actually they do decay but they just seem to take a lot longer than anything else. Quite often on long abandoned places just the trellises will be left, with odd ones here and there having decay hits and others still unaffected. Or maybe, it could be that the ones I've seen with decay got damaged in some other way, wildlife or manually ... I'll build a couple off claim and see. :)

FINISHED HARVESTING 380 CUCUMBERS! Surely the next quest will be easier....

Well. Shit. Another crop I don't have any seeds of, that grows on a trellis, slowly. And 130 of them no less! What have I done to deserve this Jorb :(

Peas are about same growth as grains/fibers, and believe they can be pollinated.

Still, even if a village grows peas, would they have that many in the area? It's not as stupidly large as 380 cucumbers, but it's still nuts for a trellis crop. (Grapes, on the other hand... I've seen double that number at a couple locations.)

I'll take a stab and say they're much like shrubbery and mulberry trees: such a small hitbox they have a small chance of actually receiving the decay tick.

Ahahaha I found TEN WHOLE PEAS. And replanted them, because I am nice. No point in telling you where, because they won't be grown yet. Of course, I still need another eight and I am WAITING for them.

Grains/fibres can have a delightful realm boost, but I don't believe peas can. And they are still slow as anything with three beehives right there.

In other news, I have a large pile of peas if anyone wants them, but personally at this stage I would nope right out of a quest requiring 50+ of the little bastards.

(Woodcutter was nice. Did you know that it still counts if you chop a newly-planted tree? I liked that.)

 .. good luck! I'm still waiting and funnily enough I said the exact same thing to one of my villagers, 'if the world lasts another six months then maybe I'll complete it!' ;)

What was really both infuriating and gutting was Jorb passed one as a noob in his stream the other night and got it! He didn't even need it!
