Firstly: You are describing Induvidualist Anarchism.
Secondly: It doesn't work because it is founded on the mistaken assumption all humans are all the same. A glaring flaw found in the vast majority of these "one Ism to rule them all" thought excercises. - Some humans can't stand authority, others can't function without it. It is not only cruel, but inefficient to force everyone to conform to any one ideology.
Thirdly: It continues to not work because at most a singular person can achieve is a crude but well crafted dwelling and feeding himself. Until you inevitably die from some kind of disease. Larger projects can't function without overhead as you'd just have dozens of conflicting ideas, wills, mis-communications or sheer malice all tugging things into various directions until inevitably things settle down into a "close enough" state. - As anyone that plays multiplayer factorio can attest to.
Fourthly: It still fails to work because Humans are assholes and tend to gravitate to being the biggest asshole to lord over the lesser assholes by sheer natural selection.
