I don't that's much of a burn unless the person you're trying to burn is 12 or 13....

That said, my 10 year old nephew loves Overwatch. Doesn't make it a silly something designed for 10 year olds.

So played around a bit last night... I suck... but maybe not so much? Last match I ended up with two kills and placing in top 10. I'm calling it more beginner's luck than anything. Kind of surprises me when I see all the constructions going up to fight from, but I'm not seeing anyone pulling out explosives. Are they just not effective, or do they just kill stealth too much?

Yeah there a lot of kids, of course, playing that game ... so they, at least most of them, are scaried and play sneaky .... but not all of them, youcan find people or teams that push you hard also and rush you destroying all your shit untill the end of the map ... that is fun.
Well ammo are limited also ... you cannot waste too much destroying building and then having no more to kill the enemy.
Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.

Nades actually don't kill stealth too much at all, much less so than most guns. The thing is, they're trash in most situations except sieging structures, and you have a limited inventory space.

The ideal inventory is something like 2 pump shotguns, an AR, a sniper or a rocket launcher depending on what you get and what you prefer, and meds or shields. I prefer shields if possible because most people carry meds and when you kill them you can heal using their meds. No space for grenades at all.

Can replace the 2 pumpies with a silenced pistol and having both meds and shields or both rocket and sniper, if you're not the 2 pump chump type ;)

They're all a ripoff of an older game mode in Quake or Doom one, except those were like max 8 or 16 people... it's been too long ago. The big difference is they didn't have the collapsing arena. Let's not forget Hunger Games and all the variations that have been showing up in Minecraft and Roblox since the first movie came out...

If DOTA hadn't been such a huge hit as a WC3 mod, we'd have probably lost the origins of that to time, too.
