Alright here goes, first part is probably a little boring, BUT as far as I'm concerned every champ has their humble beginnings. That's because a real champ plays from the heart, and love of the game. And I love this game.
INTRODUCTION TO HAVEN AND HEARTH, AND FIRST THOUGHTS So, I was first introduced to haven and hearth about 9 or 10 years ago, I was 16 at the time I think with little experience playing PvP games. A friend from school, whom I played a few weird sand box like games with at the time (garry's mod, blockland) showed me Haven and Hearth one day. This was roughly about a week before world 2 ended. Myself, and a few friends decided to play together at the start of world 3. We didn't read the forums, and didn't talk to anyone in the game, so by all means we were AWFUL at Haven and Hearth. The game has some magic when you are playing it for the first time like this.
FIRST ENCOUNTER... So about a week or two in, I was logging on to farm my 3 wheat tiles or something when I found in one of my cupboards, a note left by SOMEONE claiming to have stolen some of my materials, while leaving some in return. We kept our palisade gate open because we only had one key, and didn't have a claim, I was so surprised to see someone had stolen from us

. Eventually (maybe a few days later) I met this person, and it turns out, him and his friend had settled pretty close to us, and they were in the process of building a mine. This person was probably the first person I encountered in game, and it turned out to be NaoWhut of all people, who was at the time living with this dude who also played in Waynesville World 2(I think), Ethan.
To some extent Nao helped us a little bit, with some tips about how to play. The only important part of these interactions was the one day he had offered to teach me how to "be good". I specifically remember saying I didn't really want to put the time in to learn it, and him replying that it didn't take THAT much time. This actually happened. Fast forward a little, my IRL friends had quit (obviously, casuals), and I was playing on and off still being a little farmer noob. SOMEWHERE along the way NaoWhut and Ehtan were recruited to a village, leaving me their copper mine. With that, they parted and we stopped talking.
Probably around this time I finally started to understand the game
a little better, I traded some copper for some tin off the apples and oranges forum, made an anvil, my first sword, and killed a fox. I'm pretty sure this is when I met RAVIAN, who had started playing here after finding the game on a BLOCKLAND forum. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure it was him... Though it might of been Vigilance. Actually I'm pretty sure it was Vigilance. Now, for my first real taste of PvP in Haven and Hearth. I'm almost entirely positive I had PvP'd on Everquest (the original one) at this point, so the idea wasn't totally foreign to me, and I knew I enjoyed it.
FIRST BLOOD, THE BIRTH OF A CHAMPION SO, the person whom I traded with (the copper for the tin), he found his tin mine under siege... and well, we actually thought we could fight these guys. Like hey, I just killed a fox I'm ready to lend you my sword, yeah? Fortunately for us, this dude with the tin had a friend who offered to join us and help out. This person happened to be... Killface, or Rage, if you happen to know him by either name. So we met up and rolled out to the tin mine. Unfortunately we were to late.. or something. We ended up gathering some scents and tracking these people. When we found the village, it was this massive palisade extending to far out for us to see inside, but so far, that it wasn't entirely covered by the village claim.
Under the guidance of Killface, I took part in both my first raid, and first real PvP encounter. We built a village idol next to the wall and jumped it with the village idol teleport. We entered the village and killed the raiders, who were all online botting looms for LP while they slept. Now.. I didn't quite understand the implications of the bug jump, or the botting at the time, and how this really effected the game... but I knew I just killed someone. And it felt awsome.
*** And not for weird sadistic reasons like that pyscho Avu used to accuse me of. From a pretty young age I was into fantasy games, Warhammer, Diablo, Magic, the USUAL. loved that stuff, and I loved playing games. I felt like a bad ass warrior, and the rush that came with killing this guy for trying to raid my pals tin mine was awsome. They are called ROLE playing games after all. *** After that, killface told me I should probably go back to his village with him, at least until my scents faded. So I agreed and went along with him, I remember him saying that I could stay on his plot, AND that I shouldn't wander around his village because the villagers might actually just kill me if they didn't know who I was. I remember thinking that was PRETTY cool. If I recall we broke our hearthfires and got oathed or something like that. We sure as hell didn't walk to his village. His village at the time, was of course, KILLVILLE. (This would of been right around the time kLauE and MAYBE ElGato? had been killed by some dude from Pandemonium, or Sodom, or what ever they were called in world 3). Along with those two, and Rage, it also turned out that NaoWhut and Ethan were living here, and this is the village that they had left to.
Kind of weird how things worked out, Nao didn't tell me where he was going and we didn't talk after he left, but I ended up in his village anyways, probably a month or so after. Now days when I see things like that, I take it as a sign and try and make something of it... I don't remember if that was the case back then, but I do know that I was hooked on HnH and that I asked NaoWhut to take me up on his old offer, teach me how to be good.
We spent a single evening together sparing and wandering around looking for people to kill. This is where NaoWhut taught me the fire place trick, and how to hit someone moving with it. This would of course become the basis of movement combat later on, but it wasn'0t really a concept at that point, just a trick. Nao also used throw sand a ton with death or glory on to continue gaining IP while my shit can character never could. I didn't realize I had a shit can character at the time though. I felt pretty good and was prime to throw down.
THE FIRST LESSON OF THE CHAMP ... no one is born a champ
Literally within 24 hours of being shown the possibilities of HnH PvP, and maybe a day or two after bug jumping those guys from the tin mine, Pandemonium (or Sodom?) attacked Killville with a brickbasher. I don't remember why they did this, but I don't believe it had anything to do with our raid. What I do remember happening, was coming home from school or something to see in the KILLVILLE skype group that we were being raided. I recall seeing Ethan say that he had been killed. I opened up Pacho's client and got ready to throw down, I had the skills and the fire to get back at these guys for killing my main man Ethan. I hit enter world and probably about 20 seconds later I was K.O'd by 8 or 9 people all wearing the exact same outfit. Merch Robe, Dragon Helmet... maybe sword and shield? For sure they were all wearing merchant robes and D-helms and I though it looked pretty dumb. This would later lead me to wearing the signature Ainran "leather cloak". They killed me a few seconds after knocking me out, and I quit the game for the time being.
THATS IT FOR NOW, UPDATES EVERY DAY OR TWO OR THREE AS I HAVE THE TIME

You may have foiled the plans of BAD-EVIL this time, but there is no rest for the wicked.
