Article about Trump causing stir within NATO had comment that Trump has done good things - for his master Putin. Apparently people are willing to believe that American billionaire would happily serve Russian leader for some reason. Russia may gain benefit from NATO confusion in short-term. However NATO is simple undergoing temporary shake-up which should benefit it in the long-run.

I was hoping similar thing would happen with EU. Brexit should've forced EU to get their shit together but their recent initiative to ban memes (in all seriousness, it would ruin the internet as we know it) doesn't give good picture of our Bureaucrat Overlords.

Yeah, Trump has too much ego to be anyone's puppet. Russians still likely did some internet campaigning in his favor, but it wasn't quid pro quo, they simply thought Trump was easier to deal with than Hillary.

And yeah, Kim would be batshit crazy to trust a deal with USA. Just look at what happened to Gaddafi. I'm pretty sure he's just making nukes to prevent that, not to prepare for any sort of offensive action.

I agree that taking out Gaddafi was a mistake. He was far from perfect ruler but under his leadership, Libya was one of the most stable countries in Africa. Now it's a massive funnel of refugees towards EU which has to deal with the results of America's "world policing."

You do know "world policing" also involves sending other forms of aid and resources such as water, medicine, food, etc. You cannot really have one without the other, I am sure all those countries complaining about military forces occupying their state don't complain nearly as much about the massive amounts of resources sent to them from the West.

Anyways I do like Trump I just do not believe he had much at all to do with putting this entire affair together, you can't just look at some random news article that says "Trump invites Kim, Kim invites Trump" and pretend that all it took was a simple cell phone call from Trump "hey wattup bro summit this wknd?"
