https://cloud.google.com/gpu/
If you think its too expensive, one option would be to rent out something like this. I have no idea if you could use google's gpus for gaming. For 20 usd you can get 44 hours on-demand.

I think that those are NVIDIA's tesla GPU:s which are mainly meant for machine learning and such, but its theoretically possible to use them for gaming as well. There may be some cheaper options with only gtx-series gpus, which would be better options for gaming without a doubt.

Well, light, and electrons, can only go so fast.

I tried the NVIDIA GeForce NOW, it works well at least for cs go. Did not try other games. I believe that it can run all games on maximum settings without any issues in performance, but the major issue is input lag. There is noticeable amount of it. Making moving the mouse and playing games an uncomfortable experience. I dont think that it will ever completely replace real gaming rigs, as it is impossible to get rid of the delay because of limitations that are hard/impossible to overcome.
But if I had to choose between gaming with nvidia geforce now or some 10 year old laggy computer, which might not even be able to run some games that I play, I would definitely try geforce now again, maybe you will get used to the small input lag.

I don't know where they had their servers, other than somewhere in "northwestern europe". Maybe the input lag could be reduced if they had lots of locations for servers, for example, in all major cities. But having too many locations might be impractical and expensive. I also have decent internet connection with very small ping, I am sure that with larger ping or less bandwidth the gaming experience would be terrible.

Some possible issues could also be in compressing the video-steam. If one is playing some game which includes a lot of quick action, it might be difficult to compress it properly, causing decrease in video quality. But for quick round of cs go, it worked without any problems.

This always bothered me. I could--can--deal with low frame rates as I learned to game on them. $5000 for a "gaming rig" with 30fps was just out of my price range in the early 90s... my "relatively new" car was barely more than that. What killed me on games is when the input started lagging... and there were a few that had issues. I think that to get rid of any visual or input lag, the total round trip is going to need to be around 40-50ms, about the time needed for 20-25 fps, and that is including processing time. I don't know about you guys, but most of the games I connect to have a 50-70ms ping at best, sometimes upwards of 120-150ms for more distant servers or hosts. Beyond that, games just start disconnecting and dropping packets anymore. (And we all thought Diablo and SC were playable at 150-200ms pings in the late 90s.)

I also think this is something players could potentially learn to deal with. It does have a serious effect on a player's ability to play twitch games, though, and these are usually the games that have high demand graphics. Players in shooters have already learned to lead shots by a hair based on the network latency... at least if they're good.
