Haven is in Europe for sure. I love Canada but damn I would have had a much more fulfilling childhood if all the trees available in haven were in the Canadian wilderness. Here in europe I can walk around the block and come home full from pears, plums, cherries, kiwis, apricots, hazelnuts, walnuts, you name it. Shit grows like fuckin weeds here. Only trees I had in Canada growing up were the odd wild apple of crabapple.

BC has many more fruit trees to choose from, Ontario is just a shit heap in general

Fair enough. I lived in Ontario and NovaScotia and I've seen my fair share of berry bushes in both places but beyond apple trees I don't know what other fruit trees can really survive in Canada. Comparatively though, here in Europe I have seen almost every nut, berry and fruit tree I have ever heard of an a few I've never heard of.

BC is a rainforest, so you can grow pretty much anything you want including palm trees (you have to buy them and plant them yourself though they aren't native here)
