As for telling them apart, difference between factions is very simple, basically AD is the best faction with the best players and fighters and all the rest of the factions are either RPers, carebears, cheaters, noobs or worst of all, polish.

do u remember when u were 10 and u joined a "clan" in runescape?

its a bit like that but instead of getting a life / getting bored and moving on, u and the same group of ppl just kept playing it for a decade after everyone else stopped and u had all sorts of bots and hax that no one else has

then u start to hate yourself for what u have become and are miserable but even tho u are a gigantic loser u have, over time, formed a big group of gigantic losers and u now u have nothing better to do than take out your misery on the dwindling remains of what playerbase is left
