Yes, that was brilliant. I still have a decentralised backup of it somewhere.

Also great.

Laughed my ass of on that one.

Must watch for everyone who likes SciFi, holds up great visually still. Babylon 5, while great story and interesting character development, aged harder when it comes to visuals.
The Expanse is brilliant (and, for a change, displays real spaceflight mechanics), Firefly (and the Serenity movie that wraps it up after being canceled) also.
I can recomment The Orville as it is (these days) the better Star Trek.

Also Blood Drive in case one likes insanity and gore, could be quite popular with the folks on this forum.

And certainly: Rich and Morty.

Weather forecast for 2050: mass global flooding

Granger wrote:I can recomment The Orville as it is (these days) the better Star Trek.

I'm not sure about "better," just more modern. It's socially more advanced like TNG was over TOS. And you need to at least tolerate Seth McFarlane's humor. I have a family member that generally can't, but likes this well enough. Oh, and if you're anti-SJW, you're probably going to get triggered 2 minutes into an episode. So far there has been absolutely zero new ground in "science miracles" on this show for plot twists. I can't think of a one that wasn't used in one of the ST series.

I had forgotten about Dark Matter. I see it got the axe after 3 seasons, though, along with Blood Drive after the first. Netflix and Hulu are great for streaming, but just too many channels with a lot of original programming that don't stream it... and NBC/Universal is one of the primary founders of Hulu. Hell, I'd pay a nominal fee for access to these channels directly or via a streaming service.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Didn't even know there was a movie, I'll have to check it out. Sucks that we have to wait over a year just for Season 3.

I loved the Orville, but I don't think it's more socially advanced that ST. ST was completely void of social relationships and problems, I think that the main series that even touched on like "how the crew life actually is" was Deep Space Nine. As somebody who kinda passively watched ST for his entire childhood it fully feels like a ST to me, it's just like DS9 but more humour driven.

Also, I highly highly recommend Twin Peaks. It's extremely dated in some respects, some of the acting and effects are noticeably 30 years old, but it's just a great ride all in all.

Also, recently watched Future Man. Fucking hilarious. 2nd season coming very soon.

Also, long time diehard fan of Lost. Fight me.

FYI: I was comparing The Orville to Star Trek Discovery, thought that was clear enough from the these days.

Very much enjoyed the first season. It is quite old now though, I remember watching it at the same time as Heroes, which I also found entertaining. Plus the blonde was hot.

I always get excited whenever anybody else has seen or is interested in this show. I really liked not knowing what the bloody hell was ever going on and being kindof weirded out the whole time. The script is simply amazing and at some points in particular the cinematography really stands out. If you're brave enough to take the journey persist through the first few episodes and it will grow on you. I was given (and needed) that advice myself. Very glad I took it.

The best part about it is that almost every cast member is funny lookin.
Laying flat.
