This is the problem with HnH discords, there are like 10 different discord servers already linked to this thread

There should be one official one, maybe devs could delegate creation of it to one of their hard-working and highly skilled moderators?

There is a semi-official HnH chat channel. Loftar and jorb are usually logged in there all the time, even if they might be afk for most of it (or at least used to be... haven't been on #haven in forever). I believe it was linked above, even. I believe that you were the one that posted it.

I'm going to be blunt here so don't take it as a shit-stirring personal attack, but I still don't understand how you can justify refusing to interact with the major means of communication that the vast majority of your playerbase uses and is literally begging for an official channel for, due to it being "unethical and poorly managed" while simultaneously using Paypal as your main (and previously only) means of store payment, and you know, Java in general for the game.

99% of people don't want yet another random chat client that's going to be used exclusively to communicate with 2 devs on some random indie game, so it's functionally even more bloatware than Discord. Noone can physically force you to stop making poor decisions, but you really should either fully embrace ethical FOSS wholesale or just suck it up since it just comes off as out of touch and grating to almost everyone.
