Rumors of this biological inability to eat infinite ice cream are passed by elders to their young to prevent the overuse of such a scarce resource. We however know today through the miracles of modern science and engineering that ice cream is no longer a rarity, and as such those tall tales told in times past no longer hold weight in our society.

What if the amount of ice cream you desire to eat is zero, and yet you haven't had your tonsils removed? I find that usually this is the case with me, as it is not my favorite thing in the world. It can be pretty good on occasion, but I have no craving for it. I often decline when offered. My tonsils are intact.

Where ever and how ever you are liking? I take this to mean that you do not always consume these iced creams orally. Maybe this is cause that tonsil does not trouble you?

You believe the old wives deceive us with the tall tale? It is possible, but I am not sure if this one is more likely than alternative explainings.

Knowing that your tonsils are intact and therefore limiting your ability to consume ice cream, your desires are altered out of view of your conscious mind to prevent pain to your ego. How often do you dream of ice cream? This is perhaps better test.
