It looks like there's a big ocean in the center of the world and everyone spawns around it. Some people spawned on west edge, some on east afaik.

Unable to find a whirlpool, I kept traveling south for hours so I could at least live near an ocean. I hit the south edge of the world, no ocean. Someone else in the area informed me the east edge of the world is also close, implying no ocean on that side either. Fuck everything.

If it's indeed a donut with a cherry in the middle (that will get all the meteors) im ok with it, its just that a huge area of connected (or dugout-pasable) continents isnt very healthy for peace loving tree hugging hermits.

I found 2 whirpools, and there is no magical deserted area on the other side... people are everywhere, overpopulation.

So this world is like a hollowed out (square) ring-world.

Probably with plenty of islands inside it. (potential fixed whirlpool at center comes to mind too)

... Beware of banshee's and sea serpent's when going near the center ...

I wasn't hoping for a magical deserted area (the south edge seems deserted, so I was in the deserted area). I was hoping for a place with easy access to other areas.
