  • There's not a lot a new person can do when attacked. It seems like the only way to resist player killing is to build a palisade. If there is only one option that's not interesting gameplay. It's also hard. I am still trying to get enough rope and leather for a palisade.
  • PKing seems heavily weighted towards an experienced/knowledgeable person to the point they can do it with impunity. Some kind of guard tower/spirit templar/wanted system would be helpful. There's also no way to know if someone is higher/lower level than you until they stab you. It's not fun and it sucks that there seems to be nothing you can do but run and start over somewhere else.

I feel you here, Ive recently returned and ive played on and off for 11+ years and the PVP system is just horrible, there is nothing you can do and people will just walk all over you. People also use combat alts so your loss or risk as a hermit will always outweigh theirs, the basics in haven have a lot of potential but as everything ends up, people find a way to mitigate loss or cheese something and as a new player ull be at a horrible disadvantage with no way of learning other than to die over and over or find people to teach you.

Why would people use combat alts?

Just ask people on discord.

How could any hot-blooded male deny such a request under the circumstances.

I mean people even use alts for minor things as picking wax from beeskeps so I don't think it's far-fetched to assume they also use alts for combat. And when you got someone that uses bots to do all the menial tasks it's not even hard to feed and stat up an alt for it, since you're not putting the effort in that it would take otherwise.

People use alts for picking wax cause it gives cancerous *pointless* wounds for gathering it. People do not eat food on those alts. They are bullshit tedium avoiding alts. Resources are not wasted on those alts. No resources at all. No food. The only food a labour alt would be eating is just food for energy, which can't even be considered "food", but fodder, if you will.

Why would someone split their stats on a combat alt and a main? Whoever claims to have a combat alt is either a hermit, a newbie or a lying retard that got KO'd in a big fight and is crying about it.
The only reason for which a high level player would use a combat alt would be if there was a way to kill them when they were offline, such as summoning them outside of their walls or something, which is not the case in H&H.
