Here's a good example of a review, done by someone who played for more than 2 weeks, engaged in the mechanics of the game AND UNDERSTANDS THEM, knows the agenda of the devs, and understands the major problem caused by tedium which results in mandatory bots doing repetitive shit that would otherwise be forced on us, the players, like farming.

I love stone soup, but new stone soup feels weird. Even if it was a bit of a pain, food felt better than instakill timers :/

I think Sseth would enjoy this if he was with a small group of his own friends who knew the game, but on his own he would have to play for like a year before he knew enough to give it a fair albeit mundane review.

Yup. Unless he's secretly been playing HnH for at least year or two, we shouldn't expect a review anytime soon -at least one that's particularly accurate.

On related note, here's likely the the most watched Haven and Hearth video on Youtube.

Heh, pretty classic, gargoyal earth ele of vehumet right? Yeah I remember when food didn't stack, and each type of food was unique. I'll agree it was a pain, but "no food, you die after X turns" just seems too gamey. Ah well, caring about immersion in a 2d roguelike amirite?

My first, only lol, win was with a gargoyle gladiator of makhleb. I like casters, but their UI for constantly casting spells annoys me. Not horrible with macros, but everytime I get the itch relearning the macro system annoys the heck outta me lol.

(another amazing roguelike I love is Caves of Qud. Tinkering max damage grenades + Temporal Fugue + some form of barrier. Man, I go so far with that build, but I've also only ever died to my clones instead of enemies XD My favourite death was when I released my clones by hitting the wrong button while standing beside an enemy. My 200hp stood no chance against 4000hp of grenade damage that killed everything including me, them and the poor hapless low level enemy I was punching to death because of how easy it was)
