Very interesting to read, thank you for that!

Since charter stone were revamped to the game, market popularity grown significantly.
Previously market used it’s closest thingwall Linchik to jump into, and traveling here were quite unsafe - it was always been camped by someone.
Since charters added, in 3 days more people joined discord server than 3 months before it. Little after all inactive trading plots were replaced with active traders, and soon after that market touched it’s limit of traders, there was a queue for free barter stands.
My personal take is that charters significantly increased popularity of market.

And Jorb & Loftar, this is the only important part for you. Don't you dare to remove Charter stones ever again! They create communities and make the game feel much more alive.

Interesting that people will take such deals. I would rather build my own market than pay 10%.

indeed the best idea seems to be building own market so you can collect all these precious shekels for free, but if for those coins someone who is not market owner buys some high quality tool that makes their activities a lot more effective, that otherwise they wouldn't get, then it pretty much turns out to be worth it

if someone only has q200 sword but they see q300 then it's a good idea to get the better one if it isn't overpriced, the same for pickaxes, the same for saws and many other tools

it all depends on what the market has to offer, if it doesn't offer useful things then it's not worth it

Maybe, but this is about principles.

Imagine a shopkeeper selling something for a greater price than they bought it for. Simply morally reprehensible. How dare they treat their business as a business or be compensated for their time/investment. Surely making and maintaining a successful market is no real work. Anyway, pls donate to my various projects I 1:1 copy pasted from other people and rehosted for 7 euro a month
