Trade being consistently dead is such an insanely obvious action:consequence proposition to anybody paying attention.
In world 10 trade was so prevalent it was the killer feature of the game. From world 11 onward trade fucking sucked dunkey dick. The only differences that killed trade were oceans, and and nerfing all forms of fast travel the lowest common denominator could interact with into the ground.
I'm so fucking curious about Jorbtar's perspective on this.
- Do they think yeeting their killer features was worth the aesthetics of oceans and the (awful) concept of locality?
- Do they not think easy trade is bad?
- Did they buy into the retarded traveling merchant meme that has and will literally never happen?
- Were they just paying so little attention they did not notice at all?
I switch constantly between being /so/ sympathetic towards Jorb/Loftar for having to put up with retards like us, and being ready to shittalk them for an hour straight on discord when somebody reminds me of some of their mistakes/opinions that are so dumb they feels like parody.
The actions required to revive or even improve upon Community Fair are so obvious, non-resource intensive, and blatantly good for the game it's unfathomable to me why they haven't done it. Like, bro, why are you sabotaging yourself?
